Balance Privacy Policy

1. Data Usage

Balance takes your privacy seriously. All ledger records are stored locally on your device. Unless you choose to sync via iCloud, the developer does not upload or share your ledger data.

2. Permissions

The app may request access to device storage to import or export CSV files. This permission is used only for data import/export functionality and will not be used to access or share your data without your consent.

3. Data Export & Import

Members can export all records to CSV (fields: type, amount, name, event, date, description). Exported files use UTF-8 BOM encoding for Excel compatibility. Import will auto-create contacts and events and perform deduplication.
